My name is Nicky Langley, I am a mother of four and have lived in Dubai for 11 years.  

I decided to train to be a birth doula with Mother and Baby International (MBI) four years ago and I am loving helping Mums and Dads to achieve the birth experience they want.  

In addition to my birth doula certification and postnatal doula experience, I am certified in Infant Feeding (Breast Feeding) and am currently finishing my Antenatal Teaching qualification with Mother and Baby International.  I adore all aspects of doula work and am happy to provide any support I can.

A member of the British Acupuncture Council, Martine has practiced Acupuncture for nearly 20 years since graduating from Westminster University, London.

She treats a full range of conditions including Obstetrics, Gynecology, Pediatrics, smoking cessation, musculoskeletal pain & injuries, anxiety & depression using a combination of traditional Chinese and Japanese therapies including: acupuncture, massage, cupping, moxibustion and Shonishin.

For the past fifteen years Martine has specialized in treating fertility issues. Acupuncture is recommend as a support throughout pregnancy and is especially effective in preparation for labour and birth. She teaches a 2 hours course for couples on Acupressure in Labour each month at the Koster Clinic.

My name is Sumreen Wasiq and I am a certified AMANI Birth Child Birth Educator.

I am passionate about educating, informing and empowering women and couples with an evidence based course including lively videos and presentations, classroom activities and quizzes.

I am an avid reader of birth related topics, as I like to stay abreast with current research in the birthing world.  I frequently blog on my website and spread awareness through social media platforms.

I am a former home birth midwife and childbirth educator from the US.  I have lived in the Gulf region since 2002 and have 2 daughters.  

I am a certified lactation educator & counselor and am working toward lactation consultant certification.  I am also an IAIM Certified Infant Massage Instructor and a licensed BabyCalm and ToddlerCalm teacher.  

I currently teach Baby Led Weaning workshops, Baby and Toddler Sleep workshops, Antenatal Breastfeeding and BabyCalming workshops, 5-week Baby Massage/BabyCalm courses for mothers and babies, ToddlerCalming workshops and 4-week ToddlerCalm classes for parents.  I am also co-founder of Love Parenting UAE with Jasmine Collin.
